About the role
A Forward Deployed Engineer at Vishleshan embeds directly inside enterprise client environments to build and deploy production-ready AI solutions, working hands-on with client data, systems, and teams to take AI from use case to production in 90 days.
This is an early-career FDE role designed for engineers who want to move fast, work on real enterprise problems, and build AI systems that actually ship. You will not be maintaining legacy code or working on internal tooling. You will be inside a Fortune 500 manufacturer, a major automotive OEM, or a large financial services organisation, building AI that changes how they operate.
You will work under the guidance of a Senior FDE or Manager FDE, with full exposure to the end-to-end deployment lifecycle. Vishleshan's FDE practice is growing. The engineers who join now will help define what the role looks like at scale.
What you will do
Embed inside enterprise client environments to understand business processes, operational data, and system architecture
Identify and design high-value AI use cases across manufacturing, supply chain, commerce, and service operations
Build and deploy AI agents, workflows, and integrations connected to enterprise systems including SAP, ERP, CRM, and legacy platforms
Work alongside client teams on a daily basis, in their offices, on their plant floors, inside their systems
Ensure adoption and production readiness. The deployment is not done until the client is using it
Collaborate with Vishleshan's product and platform teams to leverage Vidura and existing AI capabilities
Contribute to deployment documentation, playbooks, and reusable patterns as the practice scales
What we are looking for
2-5 years in software engineering, AI engineering, or technical delivery
Strong Python and AI/ML engineering background with experience in LLMs, agentic frameworks, and enterprise AI deployment
Hands-on integration experience with ERP, CRM, or enterprise systems even at a junior level
Ability to work independently inside client environments once direction is set
Strong communication skills as you will represent Vishleshan inside the client organisation from day one
Genuine curiosity about enterprise operations and a desire to understand how a manufacturing plant works, not just write code for it
Nice to have
Prior internship or project experience in enterprise software, consulting, or applied AI
Familiarity with agentic frameworks including LangChain, CrewAI, OpenClaw, or equivalent
Domain interest in automotive, manufacturing, FMEG, or supply chain
Experience with any enterprise platform including SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, or equivalent
Knowledge of MCP-based or similar architectures
