About the role
A Senior Forward Deployed Engineer at Vishleshan owns an AI deployment end to end, from the first use case workshop with the client's leadership team to the day the system goes live in production. You will be embedded inside a Fortune 500 enterprise, working directly with business leaders, technology teams, and operational staff to understand their environment, design the right AI solution, and build it inside their systems.
This is not a consulting role where you write a report and hand it off. It is not a remote engineering role where you build something in isolation and deploy it over a VPN. You are inside the client, at the table, doing the work. You will be the face of Vishleshan in that environment: technically credible, commercially aware, and trusted by the client to deliver.
Senior FDEs at Vishleshan typically lead one or two complex engagements concurrently and mentor junior FDEs on their team. You will contribute to Vishleshan's deployment methodology and playbook development as the practice scales.
What you will do
Lead end-to-end AI deployments inside enterprise client environments, from use case identification through to production go-live
Embed inside client organisations and work directly with business leaders, technology teams, and operational staff across manufacturing, supply chain, commerce, and service environments
Design and build AI agents, agentic workflows, and intelligent integrations connected to enterprise systems including SAP, ERP, CRM, MES, DMS, SCADA, and legacy platforms
Own the client relationship at the technical and mid-senior stakeholder level independently
Mentor and develop junior FDEs working alongside you on engagements
Contribute to Vishleshan's deployment methodology, playbooks, and reusable AI deployment patterns
Leverage Vidura Agentic Platform including Intelligent Gateway, Context Manager, and Governor as the infrastructure layer for agentic deployments
Identify expansion opportunities within active engagements and work with commercial teams to develop them
What we are looking for
4-8 years in enterprise software engineering, AI engineering, or technical consulting
Strong Python and AI/ML engineering background including LLMs, agentic frameworks, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and production deployment
Hands-on integration experience with enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, MES, SCADA, DMS, or equivalent
Experience owning technical client relationships independently, as the person the client calls when something needs to get done
Ability to work inside client environments with minimal supervision and strong self-direction
Strong communication skills across both technical and business stakeholders
Nice to have
Prior experience in a forward deployed engineering, embedded consulting, or applied AI role
Domain knowledge in automotive, manufacturing, FMEG, financial services, or supply chain
Experience with agentic AI infrastructure including MCP, LangChain, CrewAI, or OpenClaw
Experience deploying AI in complex legacy enterprise environments
